Yes, we have two monitors for Ava’s room (if you haven’t read it yet, see the AngelCare monitor entry). Yes, we know it’s a bit of monitor overload, but we are first time parents so what do you want from us? Besides, this system really does work nicely.  We love this monitor too. This one has video. This one gives you baby TV.

The Summer Infant Handheld Video Monitor is another very cool monitor. The small, portable handheld device allows you to watch your baby from anywhere in your house. Whether it’s in the middle of the day or in the dark of night just flick the top button and voila! Your little bundle appears.  You can listen for sound if you aren’t up for a baby movie, but if you are… you can plug this bad boy right into your television and watch your little one on the big screen. And if you have a DVD recorder on your television you can record endless hours of your baby sleeping (don't you dare laugh).

You can find this monitor at most baby stores and they retail around $130.  This is  definitely one for the baby registry.
