A Los Angeles eco-living
general store and design center
Green is the new black. The it color. The color everyone is talking about and the first color to
become a lifestyle. Green is in and recycling is cool. Saving the planet isn't just for superheroes anymore. But what does it really mean to "go green"?
If you live in Los Angeles, there is a new store that can help explain
what real green living is all about. Green
and Greener is a destination both on and off of the web that supplies healthier
products and services for more eco-friendly living.
Their online store has a nice selection of organic, bamboo
and soy fiber baby products. They carry clothing,
blankets, toys and other natural alternative items such as recycled, plastic
diaper bags and BPA free bottles, sippy cups and pacifiers.
But Green and Greener
is not just a baby store. They carry
environmentally friendly products for men, women, children, pets and the home. And if you shop online instead of visiting
their Valley Village
location, they'll give you a 10% "non-driving" discount. And they don't stop there. If you truly want to go green they offer "green living business consulting" to
show you how to completely turn your plastic-y, waste-filled lifestyle around.
I am not a very good example of living the green life. But I
will say that since having Ava I pay more attention to ingredients, chemicals
and what is happening in the environment. I am more aware and I will make choices that are healthier for her –
which in turn can often be healthier for everyone else as well. I have yet to
shop from this new store and website, however I believe in what they are doing
and felt it worthwhile to share this information. Maybe Kermit's wrong… with a little bit of
help from places like Green and Greener
it might be easy being green.

This is a great store, I've shopped there, and I don't mean to detract from it at all... but this isn't the first "eco-living general store & design center" in Los Angeles. There are actually many eco-friendly baby stores around (http://www.ecovian.com/s/losangeles/baby-stores ), many of which are also more of a general store/design center (like http://www.organicrush.com ).
But that said, I'd definitely encourage everyone to check out green & greener, it is an excellent place to find organic baby clothing!

Thanks, Emily! I got that quote from their website, but I'm glad to know there are lots of other eco-friendly places as well! Thanks so much for the comment! xoxo, RO
