Today I celebrate my second Mother's Day. I'm so happy to finally share in this special occasion with so many other amazing women with my own mother topping the list.
Every year my thoughtful husband would send me sweet Mother's Day cards from our adorable kitties, but nothing can compare to truly owning the title of "Mom." I don't need anything today for I am the lucky one to have my beautiful Ava and to hear her call me "mommy." I have waited what seems like a lifetime to experience this joy and I can't express how much I love being a mother - more than I ever could have expected.
So I take this moment to thank everyone who visits my little corner of the web and to sincerely wish you a wonderful day with your beautiful family. How lucky we are...
